The people behind Maya built the forwarding planes, switches, load balancers, and security features that run today's networks, at the companies strung along Highway 237. Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and the generation before them. Maya carries that lineage into the agent era.
Between them, the team has spent decades across the companies that built modern networking and security. Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade in networking, FireEye, SentinelOne, Elastic, and Anomali in security, IBM and Oracle in cloud, and PayPal, Western Union, and Rakuten in product. Along the way they authored internet standards, were granted patents in networking and switch architecture, and shipped and took to market the security products enterprises run today.
Maya is what happens when that group turns to a new problem. Datapath engineering, control-plane security, security product and go-to-market, cloud architecture, and product, brought together and pointed at the identity of the agent. Designed and built in Silicon Valley, for the agent-native network.
